Algarterra was an Algarve-based landscaping company specialising in high-quality private residential projects. Following the relocation of the business from the UK to Portugal, the owner approached us to develop a considered rebrand that would reposition the company within the Algarve's landscaping market.

Our work began with brand positioning and market analysis, establishing a clear strategic foundation that reflected Algarterra’s values, craftsmanship, and experience. From this, we developed the company name, visual identity, and a cohesive suite of marketing materials for both local publications and targeted digital advertising. The name Algarterra connects place and purpose—referencing the Algarve and the Portuguese word terra, meaning earth—while remaining simple and locally relevant. The identity uses contour lines to subtly reference land and landscape planning, finished with restrained gold detailing that signals quality and aligns the brand with the high-end residential market. With a clear strategy and consistent visual language in place, Algarterra established a strong local presence and built a solid reputation for quality and professionalism before the owners later retired.
